Has anyone ever seen results like this: Max Stress: 1.$, 0.0 stress in legend, Max: 0.00 displacement? Trying to get results for a random vibration input.

 

Some facts:

  • Split lines representing fastener contact areas (fixed at these surfaces)
  • Random vib up to .3 G^2/Hz between about 600-800 Hz
  • Pinned connections on inner cover
  • Tried both “Allow Penetration” on Inner
    Cover-Housing and “Global Bonded” contact


Any suggestions as to what is wrong?
