While some of the common patterning commands like “Linear Pattern” and “Circular Pattern” can accomplish your modeling needs, sometimes a feature needs to be patterned along a face that has a custom curvature. The “Curve Driven Pattern” command allows you to pattern along a curve, which is extremely helpful when the pattern needs to be created on a non-planar face.

While there are many pattern features that can be used to replicate geometry, the “Fill Pattern” command allows you to fill a specified area with that pattern. This patterning command is unique in that the number of patterns and layout is automatically determined based on the defined area. With technology advancing so fast and getting cheaper, it is easier than ever get access to it. This allows amateur filmmakers to have access to equipment that used to cost thousands of dollars and is now readily affordable to almost anyone. One piece of equipment is the gimbal stabilizer.
