I have an assembly open and I have it checked out and saved. I open a part within that assembly and check it out, make changes and save. go back to my assembly and it changes to read only. click on PDM vault blueberry and right click on top assembly and the check out option is greyed out. all other options will replace the part I just made the changes to SW 2018 SP5.0 SolidworksSolidworks Pdm/enterprise Pdm

Hi Guys i have this part where i have added the top hole ......extruded it - placed the fillets on the edges (same as the others) and an trying to add the edge flange as shown in the picture when i try to do this i get a message about edged being tangent to straight edges and to be honest im unsure what on earth its saying anyone care to see if they can get this to work?? I tried posting this questing in a little different manner earlier and got one suggestion. I since spent a lot of time reviewing YouTube tutorials so I have a better understanding of the tangent mate for spheres but I am not able to get it to work with my parts/assembly? SolidWorks 2020 SP 4.0 Is anybody having an issue where the scale shown in a drawing view's properties is high by an order-of-magnitude? In the example below, the actual scale is 1:5. If I clear that 1:50 and enter 1:5, the scale does not change (meaning: the view on the sheet does not grow or shrink). Thanks for any help.

I was using SWE 2019, when the first time I insert components and finished layout of a cable, then creating a .slddrw. BOM is OK. But the problem is, when I close the harness asm and drawing, and reopen, some part's property is lost. Any ideas? SolidworksElectrical

Say I have a subassembly that has a shaft in it. The shaft is constrained via mates in all degrees of freedom except for rotation. I then take that subassembly and drop it into a higher-level assembly. How do I rotate the shaft from the higher-level assembly?

Hello One of my students has a blank installation manager. I unblocked the html files under sldimlangenglishhtml but the installation manager stays blank. I checked all other exe's but they are all unblocked. Then I gave him a new copy of the installation files but the problem remains.
