We are running some tests with Toolbox to see how we willconfigure everything for production. When I try and import aspreadsheet, the configorator seems like it is doing the import,but nothing happens. None of the part names have been updated. Noneof the configurations have cahnged.
Hello. i tried to add a picture to my PropertyManagerPage. I want to usethe AddControl Method where i have to set the ControlType. The Api Help File says that there is a swControlType_BitmapEnumeration but it is not shown inswPropertyManagerPageControlType_e. Other controls like Combobox,Listbox,... are shown but not Bitmap.

I'm getting close to going live with EPDM. Doing a lot of thefinal testing and procedures as required. I noticed that if I usethe Pack & Go feature inside of SolidWorks that I can put theassembly and all the part models in a folder on my desktop with theadded prefix or suffix in the new folder. The problems begin when Iopen the "New" assembly with the added prefix.
Hello, I am having trouble getting the SolidWorks loft feature to createthe correct solid area according to the regions I select using theSelection Manager. Attached are four images of a simplified version of the loft I amtrying to create. I want the software to add material according to the regions I haveselected (to create an outer solid portion with an opening in thecenter). However, when I complete the feature it fills in the center withsolid.
When viewing a drawing in the preview tab in PDMWE 2008 thereis unwanted extra text that shows up on the drawing. The text doesnot appear on the actual drawing in SolidWorks. I can't find anyhidden entities in the drawing or drawing format either. I haveattached a picture that depicts the problem I am seeing.

I'm trying to estimate the drag force of a simple sphereusing FloWorks 2008. The sphere is 0.15m in diameter and the fluidis water at 278K moving at 1ms-1. The tutorial about cylinder drag says that you should calculate the'Component of Force' along a specified axis. If I do this for asphere, the value is approximately half that which is expected(I've done the calculation by hand).

It has been a while since I last used fraction's to dimensionwith, I just noticed that when there is fraction the quote symbolshows up, but with decimal the quote symbol does not show with thedimension. When I use the S key or the caommand manager to sketch acenter line, the icon doesn't update to a centerline. I have topick it in the flyout menu, but the icon stillis solid. Another issue is it wont' remember the last command. If you sketcha center rectangle it will stay as a center rectangle until youchange it to something else.

Hello, I'm new to SW Simulation 2009 and would like somedirection on the best approach to meshing a sheetmetal weldmentwith 50 components. We have brought in the solids (and midsurfaces)for the weldment from another CAD system - now what is the bestmethod for welding the components together with SW 2009? Use bondedconnections in Simulation? Or are there surfacing tools in SW tocreate a single part type surface, with no gaps - so the meshappears fully connected on initial creation?

We've been able to modify our weldments in the past. Typically a 2 X 2 X .25 could be customized to a 2 X 2.5 X .25 and then noted up in the custom properties area without problems. Something in SW 2009 weldments might be bringing this process to a sudden stop. We have a project which spans releases of SW.
