Adobe Illustrator sucks for accuracy, and I am trying tocreate artwork using Solidworks Drawings instead. The problem I amhaving is defining the layer structure, or moving objects on layersbackwards or forwards. ie "Bring to Front, Bring Forward, Send to Back, Send Backward" I tried searching for an answer, but no one seems to have thisproblem. Every time I print a drawing, I get an error message... The selected print margins may result in a clipped image. Do youwant the system to correct the margins? Doesnt matter what I print - I can create a new drawing withnothing on it - a blank sheet - and I will get this error.
I have found that while moving from sheet to sheet that onoccasion my views have disappeared and the only way to get themback is to hide the view in the feature manager and then show itagain. So I am missing my tool box but when I go to Add-in and tryto add the toolbox I get the following message... ".\toolbox\swtool.dll cannot be loaded. Either Add-in or one ofits components is missing". Does anybody have this file or know how to fix it?
hi, Although after making changes in setting in options which isavailable after save as *.dwg, my text style changes from RomanS tosldtxt. although this font is available in autocad too. In later case i have to individually select all the text andchange its text style from sldtxt to RomanS. how to avoid this activity and get direct results... Does anyone know if you can move the double arrow end of aforeshortened dimension? We can place it on a detail view, and thedouble arrow shows correctly, but you cannot move it from the edgeof the detail view. I would like to drag it over, maybe justoutside the detail view. Is this possible?
When I put view from 3D into sheet, i vave visible sketchesfrom 3D too. Of course I can select each sketch by right mouse button and selectHide, or unselect View-->Sketches, but first method islaborious, second cause no bend lines... Also, I can hide sketches in assembly/part, but there are visible,because are necessary. Is any other way?
Section Views not appearing properly. Even with the "Show Cut Faces" option checked I still get featuredin the drawing views that aren't supposed to be there. I have torecreate the view and redimension to show it properly. Why is this feature broken?
