Somehow this model got stuck with the flat view. I can't do any sheet metal modifications. Can someone help? I can't get out of it and it's driving me bonkers!

In windows explorer with the "SW last saved" property tab enabled I'm only seeing Future Version displayed and not the last version the file was saved in. This is also true if right clicking and showing file properties on a particular file. Is there an obvious toggle under SW options that all users in my office are missing? If you measure something with a caliper and model it in solidworks how accurate does it have to be? Are the tolerances usually pretty liberal or does it have to have the exact dimensions of the original piece?

When editing the mates of parts within an assembly, as I suppress or edit a mate, the next thing I know SW takes me to a place in the feature tree that doesn't even pertain to the part I'm modifying the mates to. Operation sweep with twist leads to ends not joining as seen in image. How can I overcome this? As you could notice I have a gap between the spline ends. This is to ensure that the sweep with twist feature works.
