Hi, I made a box with both top and bottom opened. If I want to add a base to the bottom of the box with thickness specified by me, what is the best way to do so? I plan to 3D print the object so the two components should be somehow merged into one object. SolidworksModeling And Assemblies

How do you personally use breadcrumbs in SW? I like the function, but I keep forgetting to use it. Do you have any really compelling cases where you use this functionality? SolidworksModeling And Assemblies

We just bought a tube laser, I'll have to model tubes to be cut and bend by hand. I saw a few methods to do that but I need the fastest way to do that. SolidworksModeling And Assemblies

(Thanks everyone for the help in my last thread) I've just finished my first design and assembly. Before I print it out, could you help me check if there's anything wrong please? Also, when I edit one of the components, my feature tree turns Blue, does that mean it's underdefined? Thank you!

Thanks to got a hold of the Video from my SWW14 Presentation. Seems like it's still a very popular topic, now that has been heading on other SWW Presentations and Forum Discussions, most of the points I covered are still relevant, but there have been a lot of good updates to SW that improve things: Related Threads: SolidworksModeling And Assemblies

Hi, I went through the tutorial on Loft but it seems to create surface of zero thickness. It seems that I could use the Boss Thicken function to make the shell with a user specified thickness. Given an irregular 3D object, is there a function that empties the object but leaves a wall thickness specified by the user? SolidworksModeling And Assemblies
