In the fishtank - for a laugh.
SOLIDWORKS Forums

I've noticed that my forum points have been frozen since early yesterday morning.

I just looked at the leaderboards and some folks have received points today but many (including quite a few who usually get points.) haven't

Does anyone know what's up?

Re: In the fishtank - for a laugh.

He is probably getting all the points that the rest of us that are Again Frozen today should have been getting.

The points that I show was from last night and nothing for me or several others since then.

Last time we were frozen was also when that person racked up thousands of points - I think that day we finally got ours that accumulated posted back to our accounts but his did not go down.

He's level '1170' Thinker.

3 points for each idea = 19500 ideas

2 points for each vote = 29250 votes

Yeah, South Pole, with more penguins than points.  It's been that way since shortly after I joined the forum (12 years ago).  Still get the frequent "positive acclaim" messages, but it doesn't add up to anything---points in the permafrost, regardless.

The day went fast.

By: Frederick Law  Fri, 01 Feb 2019 21:38:33 GMT
Re: In the fishtank - for a laugh.

Usually resets for the day about 3 hour later.

I didn't see exactly what I had earlier (last time I looked was a bit below 200 today) then had to go to a customer site most of the afternoon and then when I got back at around 50.

Usually a drop will show if a post gets deleted and all points from it will go away (get subtracted)

Maybe tomorrow I will start at 0

By: Rick McDonald  Fri, 01 Feb 2019 23:30:09 GMT
Re: In the fishtank - for a laugh.

I just noticed that it reset AGAIN today (at around it's normal time.

At 520 pm I has seen my points had reset and accumulated some, and now at about 7:15 pm I see they reset again - but have added what I had seen after 5:20 (plus some) and are still accumulating after the latest reset (from what I can tell).  Looks like it is not loosing any points - just doing resets.
