Can I open Solidworks 3D or Solidworks Assembly files in Autocad Lt. I tried importing it but ends up with an error (You have selected an unsupported DGN file. only V7 and V8 files are supported.) SolidworksGeneral

When I create a 3D PDF the appearances do not show up. The entire model is just the same default color. I saw a post from 2015 where someone had this same error, but haven't found a solution posted anywhere. Does anyone know how to get appearances to show up on a 3D pdf?

I am trying to convert multi body part file to assembly but when I open each part in assembly there is no features in it. Is there any way I can retrieve the features as well? SolidworksGeneral

Hi, I am sorry if someone already asked it and I missed that post. I have a question about Layer in SolidWorks Drawing. In some program when PDF is exported, all layer automatically added in PDF and can be hidden/shown from PDF. An attachment is added here for reference.

Hello guys, im trying to make a 3d model with this point cloud file on .txt. but when i try it by onpen the file on SW14 and click on mesh prep wizard, it just creates a bunch of little pieces. Can someone tell me how i can do that? Its something wrong with the file!? SolidworksGeneral

hi, i see these news on solidworks blog and nvidia website that states "SOLIDWORKS Visualize 2020 SP0 and 2019 SP5 are the first publicly available releases that take full advantage of NVIDIA RTX, delivering accelerated rendering performance and AI denoising up to 50 percent faster than previous releases." is it means that solidworks will support RTX geforce? thanks in advance SolidworksGeneral

Is there a way to see if a surface is single or double curved in Solidworks? We're producing furniture in veneer/plywood, so for us it's really important to stick to single curved surfaces. SolidworksGeneral
