Hi All, When I'm trying to add a Flat area to my Skeleton Bridge as a walking path, it always fails in simulation, "Not Enough Fixtures". It do work when I remove it, I tried that many times with single part or Assembly, both fails, How can we solve this issue? and succeed the Simulation? Any Ideas? SolidworksSimulation

So I am trying to add kinetic friction for the "non-linear dynamic study" on the red circle (on the bottom surface of red circle) ? The way i did is to use contact set feature and input friction ? Is this the correct way to add kinetic friction ? I have attached a picture of what I am talking about and zip file of the simulation. SolidworksSimulation

20 years ago, I saw engineering FEA guy always put a note for responsibility waiver, such as "Do not accept or reject a design based solely on the data presented in this report", etc. 10 years ago, I saw it, engineering guy thought it is okay. At present, the FEA report I review, the similar note are still there. what is your opinion? SolidworksSimulation

I am running a thermal analysis with some LED's on a PCB. ThePCB has via's in it and this seems to be trouble with meshing asthe mesh must be smaller than .0035. Has anybody else done thisbefore and is there an easier way to simulate vias and coppertraces?SolidworksSimulation

Maybe I'm just a newbie but please can somebody help me toexplain how to setup a basic motion. It is a closed tube system with an innerdia of 100mm , the motionthat I want to make is that there is a disc inside the tube with adia of 95mm that follows the tube with a certain flow pressure. I'm experiencing a problem simulating a torsional restraintwhile allowing radial deflection in a cantilevered shaft with anoverhung load. I've selected the cylindrical surface restraint andonly selected a circumferential restraint. The radial directiondeflection results are one or two orders of magnitude smaller thanexpected. Any advice on this matter?

The two types of materials are Grapes and pieces of wood. My project revolves around taking out debris from grapes for a winery's flow process, i want to simulate different screen/mesh patterns but want to know if this is even possible with Solidworks, if not are there any other programs out there i should consider. I am doing fatigue analysis. I would like to change the material constant without changing the simulation target and investigate the variation in life due to the material constant. I changed my mind that tensile strength and yield strength had an effect on fatigue life, but the life did not change. Which material constants affect fatigue life in solidworks?
