When selecting a user at a State transition, we require they also enter that person's name in the comments field. On the data card it's shown as a Transition Comment. This way we can look at a data card and see who is the owner of that task. Is there a way to search for a Transition Comment?

We using and XML file for our Approvals/Signature sheet. Some users can view/preview the XML and others can't. I have checked the file association. Everyone can has "access" to the vault where the XML and XSL templates are stored.

I have data cards with Revisions that don't match. I can't see where the mistake is made. In the example below both should be at rev A-2. Instead they are different.

Hi everybody! Right now I'm using Solidworks PDM 2017 and I would like to Open / Check Out multiple files to migrate them to PDM 2019. Is there any way to easily save for example all .SLDPRT documents from a project folder? I can use advanced search to find all the documents that are match for my criterias, but is there a way to download all of them to my PC with a few clicks?

Good afternoon ,having an isue with PDM task. For a start i want to change a sheet format in a transition. This is ok you create TASK, right click button it works, however if its integrated into workflow it sets all my variables, then check in, then starts a task to change sheet format - and then nothing happens. We have three seats of SW and three users. We are storing all of our files (>3000) on a server and accessing them with Windows File Explorer. How much easier would our lives become if we transitioned to PDM? (Sorry, I'm an engineer...I can't help it. ) We need to justify the cost.

Good afternoon, have been testing data card input formulas nice feauture in some cases. However noticed interesting thing if i change input formula it doent reset. For example if i delete Edit Box it disapears when you press LMB on the file instanly, data card input formula doesnt reset even if you check out check in file. How do you resolve this if you have many parts?

I have an assembly open and I have it checked out and saved. I open a part within that assembly and check it out, make changes and save. go back to my assembly and it changes to read only. click on PDM vault blueberry and right click on top assembly and the check out option is greyed out. all other options will replace the part I just made the changes to SW 2018 SP5.0 SolidworksSolidworks Pdm/enterprise Pdm
