I have an assembly and about 10 hoses in it. I have created hoses with routing and they are saved virtually inside this assembly and these hoses do not have a drawing of their own. Just need a hose type and LENGTH to be seen in the assembly BOM.

Hello, I am having an issue with routing in 2019. I am able to build routes correctly, but when I move an object that the connector is attached to and rebuild, the connector moves but the route does not rebuild. The harness still shows the rebuild icon, but does not rebuild (CTRL-B or CTRL-Q).

2019 ROUTING BROKEN? Both of our computers running 2019 are having consistent issues that are causing pipe routing to take 5x longer than it normally would. First off, after adding flanges and starting a new spool, it changes the pipe schedule to SCH 20.

Routing walk-through? I know I'll probably need a single spline following the route sketch to guide the walk through, so: is there an relatively "easy" way to convert a chain of sketch segments into one 3D spline?

Please I need help relate a gasket that didn’t snap on the right position. I created this custom gasket and I applied the c points and route point in similar way like a standard gasket from design library after that I introduce this custom gasket in Design Library. Unfortunately, when I try to use in a simple route this custom gasket didn’t snap on the right position appear a gap, I tried many times and didn’t snap where is the right position on the slip flange. Please see the attach files parts

I am trying to make drawings/assemblies of wiring harnesses from as built notes/sketches. I do not want to go through the trouble of actually routing the wiring in my final assembly. I would like to create a harness (with routing add in) in an assembly of its own. Is this possible?

piping routing project questions, thank you,I appreciate, I’m working to a current routing project that look’s simple but because I’m beginner in routing I have problems. I already created this project in classic way, but I was thinking will be like a challenge to try to apply for the same design the routing capabilities because I would like to learn and model in 3D using routing, I will appreciate very much if there is a chance to receive help and answers to my specific questions.

If anybody out there sees this and doesn't mind helping I really need help with the mates on my assembly. I have been having this problem for days. An assembly with 3 subassemblies that previously worked, no longer works when I turn one of the subassemblies flexible(subassembly3). I've tryed many things but I just can't seem to make it work and now I'm running out of time.

From Solidworks Resources I downloaded Steel.zip from routing components a while ago but only recently I've found this problem. DIN units should be metric but "amazingly" DIN2616 Concentric K reducer is in inches...this mean that, for example, reducer 114,6/88,9 (from 4" to 3") is enormous! In fact, switching from units doesn't solve this issue (this problem doesn't affect Eccentric E reducer).

I am new to the routing add-in, but I am designing an assembly with a lot of electrical harnesses so I'd like to take advantage of this tool. My employer does not use the design library at all, which seems to make routing very difficult. I have a top level assembly with connectors which are already mated. Ideally, I would like to be able to add connection points within the connector part files, then make a harness subassembly which contains only the cable (no connectors).

Please how could I add from Design Library an Elbow to a flange using Routing in Edit Route Session, but to control the angular orientation relate the flange central axis without to start a pipe from the flange, practically the elbow will be add direct to the flange. There is possible different options solutions in routing, and in the same time is possible to have an Instrument that could control the angular orientation... Thank you so much I really appreciate a fast accurate answer, step by

I'm trying to offset a section of pipe using two 45 degree elbows. I've attached a test sketch, I have two sketches one uses a plane and it works as I need it to, the second is trying to use a 3D sketch however no matter what I try it keeps saying it's over defined. Anyone know how to make this work?

I am a seasoned SolidWorks designer and Admin but I am new to setting up routing, I am trying to set this up as I transition my company from AutoCAD to SolidWorks. We use a mix of flanged and grooved components. Flanges do not seem to be a problem with routing. I am trying to figure out how to deal with grooved pipe ends, groove couplings, and grooved components in routing.
