I have a part where the geometry varies rapidly along one axis but very slowly along another. I am modeling the part as a shell. I know how to create different mesh sizes for different faces but is it possible for the shell mesh size to be different along different axes. SolidworksSimulation

Hi, I need a help in simulating a part (see the attachment). Here the part is only one half. Its fixed at the bottom and from the top another part is pressed until it sits in the slot. So in this process the upper portion deflects.

I had a simulation project I was working on yesterday crash, and now the simulation tabs won't load anymore. Simulation tabs loads on other files and earlier versions of this file. Any ideas on how to fix this? It also looks like I could start new simulations on the crashed file, but I have lost all previous work.

for some reason this assembly is not meshing i tried everything from medium, to the finest smallest mesh there is no interferences there is a circular cable inside a thermal paste which sits inside a tool plate the tool plate has 1/16th dia holes in 1x1'' spacing ps if you could help me reorient it to lay flat on a axis thanks SolidworksSimulation
So my simulation begins by milling the part from the bottom... Then finishes drilling the final holes at the top... I want to complete the milling process from the top of the part since the mill is a 2-axis. Any Ideas? SolidworksSimulation

hello, from what i understand, when the plot is horizontal for displacement, this means the results have converged. im not too sure how normalized value is calculated, is the formula available somewhere so i can understand what it means?
