I'm trying to copy and move / rotate this part and set the height above the first part. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I tried xing out to come back to the start of this feature, but thats not happening. When I reopen the file, it takes me back to the second part of the feature.
Hi, it would be nice to add reverse of shell feature. Instead of cutting, that it could add a solid layer above an object - selected faces. or maybe is there a function for this already? something like body-offset would be nice. SolidworksParts And Features

Just outgassing here. Importing an assembly from a step file. I've spent most of the morning checking out of this window--probably over a hundred times right now. No idea why SW created all of these import files read only.

Recently there was comment by someone that missed this option being checked. I have been in manufacturing for 40 years but 3D CAD only less than 20. Can anyone provide a valid use for this option? This is not a challenge, just a question.
Wouldn't that be great? I find that with this feature and some similar ones I am constantly resetting the default depth setting. If you set it to Through All the drawing also has that printed. I use Up to Next for virtually all of them.

Using SW2017SP0 Had the opportunity the other day to used the new"advanced hole" command. Became frustrated in that I could not adjust the the custom sizing as it was greyed out. Contacted my VAR, and while clicking around attempting to activate the greyed out area, I must have clicked on the icon/picture. Vola`, the edit field became available.
