I am currently running just one SW professional with pdm STANDARD. ON one PC. We are getting another user and pro license, probably more down the road. Probably 5-6 at most (in the distant future) We dont have a server(no need for it), is it possible to setup Vault on NAS or similar?
Hi Each time i go in Windows explorer after few second or immediatly the prompt login of PDM appear. But i don't want to connect to the vault. User don't want to close the screen each time. I just want to see the prompt login screen if i click on the vault icon

For some reason, I can't get indented BOMs to drill down any further than the top level. I've tried checking out, saving, and checking back in both the top level and sub-levels making sure to set lightweight to resolved to no avail. Am I missing something here? We have three seats of SW and three users. We are storing all of our files (>3000) on a server and accessing them with Windows File Explorer. How much easier would our lives become if we transitioned to PDM? (Sorry, I'm an engineer...I can't help it. ) We need to justify the cost.

Good afternoon ,having an isue with PDM task. For a start i want to change a sheet format in a transition. This is ok you create TASK, right click button it works, however if its integrated into workflow it sets all my variables, then check in, then starts a task to change sheet format - and then nothing happens. We have just started PDM notifications (SMTP) in PDM Professional. A couple of users get an error message blockking them when trying to use the links in the PDM notification email. I have searched all over the administration tool trying to find a setting for why they are getting this error. So far only 2 out of 30 users are having this issue.

I'm working in our EPDM workflow system. The current PDF creation during our Release state change is working perfectly. The only issue appears to be that it comes in as "Initial Check in" I want it to be our Released state. I cant seem to find any check mark box or value i can select to make it match the state of the part being released.
I.'m looking at the requirements for Enterprise PDM and SW seems to recommend 3 separate machines: archvie server, database server, and web server. For those of you with EPDM already implemented, is this the route you chose? If not, how (if at all) did you divide up the servers? For comparison, we'll have 25 SW users and about an equal number of non-SW 'contributors'.
