For those experiencing anomalies using PDMW do not be alarmed, this is normal behavior. Back in 2005-2006 I had about 18 or so issues to be resolved. This prompted my move to DBWorks but, alas I'm now employed elsewhere and am going back to PDMW. Can hardly wait to see what weirdness awaits.
Hello, I've submitted an "idea" (clever workaround to ER) to add a quantity column to PDMWW. This column would be primarily used for attachments/generics but could also be used to override the default quantity for SolidWorks. Hello SolidWorks, Sure would be nice to sort documents in vault by filename instead of type. So annoying to scroll down the tree with numbers out sequence. Yeah, I know submit an ER however my gut feeling is it will fall on deaf ears. SolidworksWorkgroup Pdm
NOT A PDM EXPERT OR ADMINASTRATOR. I have a folder that I would like to rename. Do all files need to be checked in BEFORE I rename or can this be done at any time (and it will update the references)? I'm not 100% sure but I would be willing to bet that there are files checked out from this folder somewhere.
