Logging into the forums while reading a discussion has changed (I believe). If you are reading a discussion, and not logged in, logging in causes you to head back to the forums home page. Previuosly, if you logged in while reading a discussion, it brought you back to the discussion. I normally don't log in unless I am going to add a reply, so this is cumbersome for me. Try as I might with any service pack download I always get afailed operation. This has happened with sp2, 2.1 and now 3.0 I have tried downloading using the method which pops up when youstart SW, I have tried manuall using the master disc s it asks forbut no joy at all. I would like to see better layer control in future versions of Solidworks. One thing I really want is the ability to set the layer Print Status (ON/OFF). This way I could see a layer but when I print, it doesn't show up. I use this feature a lot in AutoCAD for guide lines and notes for the designers. SolidworksGeneral
