3 Tricky Shapes: There are three parts in this assembly. Two of the parts are made from strictly surface features. The other part uses solid and surface features(hybrid) to create the geometry. Open up the parts individually to review all the features comments.

Honeycomb Foil Ornament: This is a foil or paper honeycomb ornament. A little computer intensive due to its large patterns, but worth the wait. This model uses boundary surfaces to create a diamond shape. That diamond is then patterned in two directions to make the honeycomb geometry before it is trimmed into its final shape.

Partridge in a Pear Tree: This fun part has two configurations showing the collapsed and open states of the geometry. The geometry in this part acts similar to a pop up greeting card. One angle dimension in the base sketch controls the geometry along with two equations to help to open and close the geometry. Toggle between the two configurations to see the geometry fold and unfold.

Cubic Trefoil Knot: This model demonstrates a different technique for creating a weldment without using a 3D sketch or a collection of 2D sketches. This multi-body part is called a Cubic Trefoil Knot. It is a 3D-golygon (knotted golygon). Instead of using standard weldment structural members, the building blocks are created then patterned.
