The Alexandria SOLIDWORKS User Group has completed the first major SWUGN event of the 2024. Nearly 100 people took part in a full-day event that that included technical presentations, networking, and giveaways. They were even able to incorporate their culture, further connecting their members. Leader of this group, Mohamed Hussein, wrote a beautiful recap of this event with lots of great pictures.

After suffering a personal tragedy, Ian set off on a mission to “use design to positively impact our community. His focus at Brandeis has been on ‘Design to Repair the World.” “

Next week, engineers will gather at 3DEXPERIENCE World in Dallas and on Sunday, where the SOLIDWORKS certification team will provide 240 lucky users the opportunity to sit for a certification exam. Create lines and centerlines as entities in a sketch. Understand the options for creating lines in a sketch. Draw lines that are vertical, horizontal, or at a specified angle. Use centerlines for relations and dimensions to facilitate the creation of model geometry.
