It’s Tech Day for kids at the AL-Kindy Primary School! Engineer and CSWE, Hassen Koulak, president of Fusionesprit, took SOLIDWORKS Apps For Kids to the AL-Kindy Primary School in Tunisia for a day of fun using a collection of software applications created just for kids. The kids quickly used the Shape-It app, creating their own characters. They placed Shape-It models into different scenes and shared new ideas.

Students from the local Olin College of Engineering hosted a SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids paper craft activity Friday, 11/11. Children of employees from the Waltham campus were invited to attend the event. The event began with some puzzling riddles to get the kids’ creative juices flowing. Watching the WPI FSAE team during Tilt Test at FORMULA Michigan makes you hold your breath and celebrate the accomplishments of so many young engineers. The SOLIDWORKS team visits with 1000’s of students this time of year at SAE Collegiate Events, Maker Faire’s, Robotics competitions, graduations and more. It is great to see so many wonderful designs and the products students create for senior capstone projects, the middle school science fairs, and Solar Car teams like CalSol from UC Berkeley.
