Excitement was in the air in Dallas as we collectively kicked off 3DEXPERIENCE World 2024. General sessions began with a welcome greeting from Gian Paolo Bassi, Senior Vice President of 3DEXPERIENCE Works, who drove onto the stage in a classic Shelby Cobra that retrofitted to be a fully electric car. First off, if you are unfamilar with IRON SWUG, let’s do a little recap. Back in 2020 and 2021, the SOLIDWORKS User Group Network (SWUGN) was unable to meet in person due to restrictions put in place during the pandemic. As the world re-opened, in-person SWUGN meetings were back in full swing, but one that deserves a special mention is IRON SWUG.
