My name is Jamison Go and I am the team captain, primary driver, and one of the engineers for the BattleBot SawBlaze Team. Currently I am a R&D engineer at an additive manufacturing startup in the Burlington, MA. My experience is in both mechanical and electrical engineering, and I have spent many years as a researcher in robotics and additive manufacturing. My teammates (Lucy Du, John Mayo, Chris Merian, Joao Ramos, Alex Hattori, and Mason Massie) are either current students or alumni of MIT.

My name is Betty Baker and I am a Domestic Casegoods Product Engineer at Ashley Furniture in Arcadia, WI. I am also the user group leader for the La Crosse/Eau Claire/Winona Area (LEWA) SOLIDWORKS User Group along with being the SWUGN rep for the Midwest U.S. region. I cannot imagine that you are not already aware, but the 2018 Season of BattleBots is coming to an end. The Final Four will be fighting it out this Friday on the Discovery Channel. I know I’m excited, as I have been following this event for many years now, however, this year is especially exciting as we have an ALL-SOLIDWORKS Final four. All four bots were designed using SOLIDWORKS: Lock-Jaw, Bite Force, Whiplash and Minotaur.
