I'm trying to create a metal cabinet that has a sloped top using the sheet metal tab. The sides and bottom are easy to create being they are perpendicular to my base flange, but I can't figure out how to create the top edge flange and it's subsequent edge flanges to match what I have on the sides and bottom. I can create it and have it match the slope, but can't figure out how to make it come out the proper length, so that when I create the subsequent flanges off it,everything matches up with

I am trying to create a sheet metal part with some louvers in the center bent at 45-60 degrees( see attached model of flat pattern), How do I twist/deform just the center louver? Sorry future version so I can't open it. The only thing I might could suggest is rotate your tool to the angle you want on that particular row.

I am trying to flatten a sheet metal body so I can export it as a DXF. I have been doing this for over a year, but the "bend" lines have been showing up on the flattened part lately. This makes it a pain to export as the lines have to be removed manually. See below.

We are not allowed to spend time and material on trial and error on test bending. We can only use the in built software in the bending machine to calculate cut measures. But as we experienced it is not always right and, neither does it give us any information the software uses to calculate k-factor.

I'm trying to make a column out of metal - I can get the idea of it shown using loft and cuts, but I can't convert it to sheet metal in order to get the flat layout for fabrication. I tried using tangent arcs to trace over the shapes but it doesn't give me the right shape. Any idea how to get this to work as a sheet metal part? Ultimately I need to be able to create a flat pattern for each 'panel' in this column.

Since it's flat in both it would be very odd to be a bend allowance issue. Did you make an alteration to the length dimension of the part in one config and accidentally make it configuration specific? I agree withTon Stokmanon this.
