Every year SOLIDWORKS users have the ability to participate in sharing their enhancement ideas for SOLIDWORKS products.  Then, our users can vote on which ones they feel are the the best ideas.  This year, that tradition continues.  For 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020, we have the SOLIDWORKS Top Ten List, now on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.  You can now add your ideas on how to improve SOLIDWORKS products in the Community.  Please take 40 seconds to view this video on how to access our new forum.

You can use your 3DEXPERIENCE ID or your SOLIDWORKS Customer Portal ID to log into the Top Ten List.  If you don’t have either, then you can create a new 3DEXPERIENCE ID as shown in the above video.

Once you login, you’ll see the new interface.

3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Top Ten List Forum

Take a couple of minutes to view the Instructional Help Video that is hosted in the forum.  The video describes how to use the forum, including the creation of ideas, searching for ideas by topic and liking your favorite ideas.  Just like in years past, you’ll be able to comment on the submitted ideas.  Don’t forget to bookmark your favorite ideas too!

The time frame to add ideas is from November 13, 2019 to December 27, 2019.  Voting now takes the form of “LIKES.”  When you “Like” an idea, it counts as a vote.  As such, there is no equivalent for down-voting.  If there is an idea you don’t support, simply post a constructive comment on that idea to expand its discussion.

Last day for voting, or “liking,” ideas is January 24, 2020.  Of course, we will announce the Top Ten during a special breakout session at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020, which will be held at Music City Center in Nashville, TN from February 9-12, 2020.  We hope to see you at the conference this Winter!

(The original forum post for this announcement is found at 3DExperience World 2020 SOLIDWORKS Top Ten List.)
