Simpleweldmentpart2 Simple Weldment Part 2: A weldment is an object made up of several parts welded together. SolidWorks represents this model as a multibody solid NOT as an assembly.

This rectangular tubing element was created as a separate group from the port vert because it was not parallel or touching the port vert element. Also, all four rungs could have been made as one group if they were the same size because parallel segments can be grouped together. But this is not the case here.
