Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) learning with a mission is the nationwide challenge for our youngest designers and makers in this years’ Day of Design .  Elementary school children can participate in the “Creating Hybrid Foods” challenge using SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids for free!

In this mission, students will:

– explore how existing foods could be combined to create new hybrid foods with exciting new flavors and characteristics,

– utilize an online, easy-to-use tool to create and/or modify 3D models on the website,

– optionally, print out their 3D models using your own 3D printer.

Students can earn a badge by completing or modifying a model using the 3D modeling online software.

There are other challenges too.   Teachers and home school mentors can visit
for more information for students of all ages.
Thank you to STEMconnector and Learning Blade for creating such great challenges.  Dassault Systemes is a very proud sponsor.
