Edit the custom properties of an assembly without opening file.

All you need is a SOLIDWORKS ID, or a new or existing 3DEXPERIENCE ID.

I am wanting to edit the custom properties of an assembly with out having to open it. I have 10's of large assembles that need information updating in the properties but dont want to have to wait to open each file, edit it. save it and close the file. Solidworks Explorer could do this but it is no long available as a piece of software. can you tell me what is the new way of doing this?
