STEP files loses associations

Stačí vám SOLIDWORKS ID nebo nové či stávající 3DEXPERIENCE ID.
We have an issue here that I have not seen mentioned, and amposting to see if anyone else has had this problem, or knows of afix.
We have to save our assemblies and parts as STEP files to send tovarious vendors. What is happening, is that when the assembly isopened, it has lost all association with the parts, and when youfind the part to reassociate it with the assembly, we get aninternal ID error message.
What do we need to be doing differently so they will opencorrectly?
