Using a separate drive for data can increase SW performances?

All you need is a SOLIDWORKS ID, or a new or existing 3DEXPERIENCE ID.

Hello, I am wondering if some real benefits can be obtained keeping the Solidworks installation disk separated from data disk. Using also the PDM, that means that while SW is installed in C:\ (physical disk1) i would keep the local cache on D:\ (physical disk2).

I tried to look into this but did non find any real opinion yet.

Thank you.
