When you save documents on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, you can select options such as specifying a new filename, adding a bookmark, or creating a new revision.

To save a document with options:

  1. Click File > Save with Options or press Ctrl + Shift + S.
    The Save to 3DEXPERIENCE dialog box displays information about the document and presents options you can specify before saving.
  2. Optional: Specify options:
    Option Description
    Name Displays the name of the current document. Click in the box to change the name.
    Collaborative Space Displays the name of the active collaborative space on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
    Reserved Status Displays the reserved status of the document (Reserved or Unreserved).
    Bookmark Specifies bookmarks to add to the document. Bookmarks help you to organize your documents.

    Click Add Bookmark to open the Bookmark Editor app, where you can select existing bookmarks and create new ones.

    If the document already has bookmarks, then the label Add Bookmark is replaced by a list of the bookmarks associated with the document.

    Revision Specifies to save the document to the current revision or a new revision. Select one:
    • Current Revision
    • New Revision
    Revision Comment Specifies comments about the revision.
    Release Reservation After Save Unreserves the document when you save. Clear the option to keep the document reserved.
  3. Click Save.
