Re: PLEASE help

I don't see how that extends the pattern onto the curved ends as OP is having the issue. However, I'm trying to WRAP my head around it (sorry, couldn't resist a bad pun), and I cannot figure out how to achieve it either. I am sorry to be of no help. File is also in future version to me, so I can't edit it well.

I had considered a split line and move face, but still can't understand how to project it onto the curved face in the first place.

A complex way to extend the indents around would be to create a swept-cut or loft-cut for each line, with guide curves drawn on the face surface. It is a head-scratcher. Again, I apologize.

Re: PLEASE help

Have you even defined what it means to wrap those "X"s around the ends?  You're trying to put straight line elements on a conical surface.  How do you want that to happen?  You can't just magically hope that SolidWorks will know how to distort your shape such that it fits on a cone.

Re: PLEASE help

3 sketches, 2 wraps, 2 mirrors & 1 pattern.  Sketches and pattern needs tweaked but I'll leave that to you.
