Bob - think you'll like this
Thanks Rob, I'll put it in this afternoon
I downloaded the whole SW2019 SP1 setup package (15 GB) and not just the upgrage package (1,8 GB). Started the setup from there and after a while it asked me to stop two backgroung processes (firefox and acrobat reader) which not seemed to be running at all but still exists in the background. Upgrade never asked to stop those. Doing so uprade completed just fine.
This is the best news i've gotten in 2019!!!
Thanks for the head up.
Continue installation ended with this:
Also installation was slow.
I know this is off topic, but can anyone running 2019 SP1 verify the font behavior over at drawing does not print correctly?
Didn't know SP1 was out - will be downloading after lunch.. YES
I have updated SOLIDWORKS 2019 SP0 to SP1.
It has certainly fixed most of the graphics issues.
I'm still having crashing issues when I have Options>Performance>Enhanced Graphics Performance selected. But have no issues when I have it un-selected (NVIDIA Quadro M2000)
Downloaded and working well
How did you access this? because regular link is not working.
Everything works here
wow just need another service pack or two to come threw and I can get to 19
I got the same thing when I tried installing. Made sure the new anti-ransomware thing in Win10 security was off, and same result. Any answer from your VAR about it?
Still using SW'18 for real things, and SP05 installed OK on that, so this is not a pressing issue yet but eventually. . .
SW 2018 Has been a great release for me, I'm working on a very large project at the moment and 2019 promised some real performance improvements which I desperately need.
Installed. Works like a charm...
And although the new graphics pipeline seems to be still beta - all graphic glitches are gone, at least at first sight. Well done SWX!
Oh no! Here they are - back again!
