When you click on the 'Forums' drop-down at the top of the forum page, why do you get redirected to solidworks.jiveon.com? The page it brings up is useless.

To answer your original question, who knows why. When I pause over that I get the following:
The idea is to use the dropdown to select to go to MySolidWorks or to Technical Support.
I assumed John was pulling my leg. However, the stupidity of the functionality made me question my assumption! I wonder if one of the moderators would be willing to chime in on this and explain why this drop-down works like no others known to man...
That useless button was so aggravating I used TamperMonkey to get rid of it. It would constantly pop open when I slightly overshot the 'All Content' button, taking me to MySolidworks.
