cannot be imported IFC files I use SolidWorks to import the IFC files generated by Revit, which cannot be imported when the files are more than 100M or so; if the files are less than 30M or so, can I import them properly?
Large .stp File From NX10 to .SLDPRT I have joined a new company which uses Unigraphics NX10. The project I'm working on was designed using NX10 and i need to convert the .stp files so that I was able to change part sizes and add new parts.

Before Designing I store a blank folder template in my project directory, labelled by numbers so it flows in a sensible manner, eg. 1. received data, 2. design, 3. manufacture, 4. inspection, each with it's own archive folders.
Best layering/nesting software for machining/lasering? I am currently using Q-CAD & deepnest.io to nest & layer SLDPRT files for laser cutting. My company also wants to engrave a part number into the pieces we make as well.
Bizarre Dimensions glitch in Assembly files I've encountered the same weird glitch with my assemblies twice now since switching to SolidWorks 2020. Sometimes, if try and edit a component within the assembly, then save & rebuild it, suddenly my workspace will be filled with what I can only describe as "dimension definitions".
Creating a solid body and I have what I think is a very simple problem for someone experienced in SolidWorks but it's a bit different from how I typically use the software. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction as I'm a little lost.
