Hello Community, please check out the following screenshots. You will see that there is not enough space for "Benutzerdefiniert" - what stands for "Custom" in German. This is not critical, but should be easy to fix - I think the status Bar has enough free space! ;

As the title says, I cannot get my version of SW on my home computer to not show hidden lines. I will attach a picture to show what I mean. I have already tried to turn off hidden lines in the visibility settings. SolidworksHardware And Graphics

Is anyone else missing the >> arrow to get to page two of the Sketch Picture dialog? I have autotrace turned on in the Add-ins and ive tried restarting and various combinations of add-ins on/off with no luck. Im running SW2011 sp2.0 on a 32bit system. I had the same problem on SP1.0. Sometimes we have tangent edges visible in drawings and have some trouble with that. Modified a macro (VBA) for attaching views to BOM1 from Artem Taturevich and now it changes tangent edges from every view as wanted (with font). Best regards, TapaniS SolidworksDrawings And Detailing

Anyone else find the new toolbox listing of to be awful? Why change it from ascending physical size order, e.g. M5, M6, M8 to a confusing numerical order, e.g. M1.6, M10, M12, M16, M2, M20. Makes fastener lists look completely illogical. SolidworksAssemblies

I am trying to retrieve the hardness property from the material specific properties and add it to the configuration specific properties using a macro either in SolidWorks API or in the built in macro editor. I''d rather Configuration Switcher menu item be dockable like any button. Now it acts like whole toolbar meaning you can either hover it or dock by using up whole line in toolbars area. SolidworksSolidworks 2015 Beta

Thank to Deepak Gupta and some more people on this forum, i made a PDF batch export macro. I hope this is usefull for someone. This macro search the selected folder for drawings and export these to PDF in the same folder, with or without prefix (date or something different) Enjoy SolidworksApi macros

my company just upgraded our machines(mine only for the nextfew days) to 2009. I have redone all of my preferences but thereseems to be a problem with hidden line not showing up when I turnthat view on. In this SolidWorks tutorial at 2:20, the guy giving the tutorial cycles through normal views very quickly. How does he do that? I know how to change view orientation, but I don't know whatever keyboard shortcut that is to "set your orientation." I use a lot a graphic tablet (wacom) to do markups, but the quality even on exporting its terrible: I like to use it to fast observations on drawings, but with this quality i canot use it.
