I miss: 1. gravity snap, snap to object plane. 2. Align and center camera to object axis so Y axis of the object is right in the middle (important because of perspective view) anything else? SolidworksSolidworks Visualize

Hi, it would be nice if it was possible to re-import from another visualize file, instead of from the model. Assuming you import a model from visualize file you also import all appearances made from there so it would be nice to be able to re-import appearances from there. Or maybe make an option to re-import geometry and re-import appearances. SolidworksSolidworks Visualize

I'm using Solidworks visualize 2020, I'm now trying AMD prorender, I have AMD RX on my PC, in preview mode, everything looks normal, but when I turn on accurate mode, all the models disappear. Also, there is no fast mode. Anything to do about this? Thanks!

Now we are in Vis2020. Two full versions and 10 Service-Packs later and the queue is still not working correctly---Wow......! Now we can edit MDL Materials and have PBR-Material.That´s really good and an alternative to the antiquated material system. But how to change the mapping type of MDL?

I want to make an interactive foto where i can look unter the object too. I need an orbit from 90 to -90. Is this possible? I tried different things, but the orbit seems to be limited to 0-90 degree.

I am trying to make custom "weld beads" so I can see them in Solidworks Visualizer. Maybe I am not thinking hard enough, but how will I make them. There will be one on each flange connecting to each pipe, and then the 2 cross ones. I have many others, but this is one example.

Hi, I am facing a strange problem, I made some mistake while customizing my solid works and now Toolbar have next icon action. For Example if I click Filter Axis, operation will be previous Icon means Filter Solid Bodies. Hallo, ich versuche über den Bohrungsassistenten M4 Bohrungen (siehe Bild) auf die Innenseite einer Mantelfläche zu bekommen. Wie kann ich die symmetrisch zu einander setzten und bemaßen, denn wenn ich bemaße möchte und mir die stellen auswähle passiert nicht und ich kann das so irgendwie nicht bemaßen. I'm rendering a screen on one of our products, and the area around the perimeter looks like it has the screen rendered properly. However, the entire middle section of the screen is a solid gray color- almost as if the software blended the inside. I need it to show as screen mesh, not solid gray. Does anybody have a workaround?

Solidworks 2020 SP4 Visualize Professional 2020 SP4 Randomly started getting this on a few of my projects. Saving the solidworks assembly no longer prompts a re-import in visualize, and there is no option to locate the original source file or re-import from visualize (like before). Was working fine the other day with this project. Any ideas or workarounds?

Hi, I've seen this picture below and it got me thinking... are volumetric textures a thing in the future, especially something like wood textures. So basically the texture would show appearance the way body is shaped so different faces would match perfectly on the edges. SolidworksSolidworks Visualize

I recently wanted to make sure I was squeezing every ounce of available rendering power out of my system. If you have multiple GPU's you can view their resource percentage in the NVIDIA Control panel and CPU usage in performance. In the SW Visualize tutorial, it's suggested not including the decal while importing the 3D model into the Visualize. My question is: how to get the decal back on the 3D model as there is no option to apply decal in Visualize ? SolidworksSolidworks Visualize
