In windows explorer with the "SW last saved" property tab enabled I'm only seeing Future Version displayed and not the last version the file was saved in. This is also true if right clicking and showing file properties on a particular file. Is there an obvious toggle under SW options that all users in my office are missing? When I save an assembly under a new part number solidworks prompts me to save every individual part as well. This can get old real quick when you have a couple hundred parts in your assembly. Is there any way I can save an assembly under a new part number that still uses all the existing parts? SolidworksModeling And Assemblies

Is the hole wizard correct if trying to create a M2.5 CSK? The diameter is reading 0.217" however when I put an actual screw in the model (downloaded from McMaster), it looks too small. The head diameter of the screw is 0.185" which appears to be correct. Thoughts?

Hi, I would like to rotate the view in SolidWorks. For example, clicking on "normal to" the right plane shows my Y-axis to the upward direction like the figure below. However, I would like to have my Z-axis in the upward direction. Could you please tell me how can I do that?

Hi guys I need help on Extruded-Thin Feature. When editing the mates of parts within an assembly, as I suppress or edit a mate, the next thing I know SW takes me to a place in the feature tree that doesn't even pertain to the part I'm modifying the mates to. I basically have a tube with slots cut in a pattern down the length, and I need to coil it in a spiral. However, when I use the flex command to take the straight tube and coil it, I get a weird render issue where the solid looks inverted somehow. Not sure why this is; any fixes or other methods to achieve this same part?

Having an issue in assemblies where I create a section view of solid parts, and they display as if they are surface/thin features, see example below. Just started getting this recently. Hello! I´m trying to fold back this sheet metal piece after cutting it. However for some reason it modifies the geometry of one of the cut parts on the right side. I don´t know what i´m doing wrong here, I made sure the "normal cut" box was checked and after cutting the piece, all cuts seemed ok.

My question is I am modelling round part with the slots going from center out, the slots are not through part and not through sideways, the slots have angle bottom(for blind slots), starting from different circumference and ending at different circumference.
