Hi, I'm recreating a part from GrabCad. I followed the steps as closely as possible, when I get to the final step of thickening I can only make it 0.20mm thick but the original version is 1.5mm thick. Does anyone understand why my part can not be made thicker? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, today the programs has started to show me this. . I'm not able to activate the automatic rebuilding on the assembly. The advertiing say to activate it on System option, but I really don't understand where this command is.. Does anyone know how to do?

When I make an assembly I like to put the same type of parts in one folder. When you have a part and a linear component pattern for example you can't do this. Atleast not without dissolving the pattern, which is pretty inconvenient in my opinion. SolidworksModeling And Assemblies

I've decided to do something basic and just try to get it right. I found this giant pawn and I thought I would try to model it. If you measure something with a caliper and model it in solidworks how accurate does it have to be? Are the tolerances usually pretty liberal or does it have to have the exact dimensions of the original piece?
