I just upgraded from SW 2020 (SP5.0) to SW 2021 (SP4.1) & imported my settings after the upgrade completed. Everything mostly seems in order, except for all of the command manager customizations I made in the Simulate Add-On. None of them imported -- I spent a TON of time tweaking off of the button layouts & am now back to square one. Is there a way to actually backup these settings in the future so this doesn't happen again?
For PhotoView 360 users, Beta 2 includes a few new things worth mentioning. New Appearances We have added a handful of new appearances; 1 set was there in the standalone (thick glass appearances. Some could be downloaded from Modo's PV 360 site (gemstones). And the Solids are just generally useful if all you need is a diffuse surface. no more having to apply a plastic and then turn off reflections, specularity, etc.
Hey everyone! Is there a way in Solidworks 2017 to explode a multi-body part in an exploded view of an assembly? I cannot use the "reuse subassembly explode" button since it is a part, not an assembly. And also I found a solution but it only works in solidworks 2020 where there is a "from part" button under options but it is not present in solidworks 2017. SolidworksAssemblies
Hi, I'm recreating a part from GrabCad. I followed the steps as closely as possible, when I get to the final step of thickening I can only make it 0.20mm thick but the original version is 1.5mm thick. Does anyone understand why my part can not be made thicker? Help would be greatly appreciated.
