Attached is a file that I would like to configure the revolve on top with different colors. I tried the configure feature but the color will not change, it seems to stay at what ever color it was when the part is svaed. Any help would be awesome. Solidworks has to improve the stability of configurations! After saving a assembly yesterday, i opened it today the product of the mold changed ( a very simple product with 2 configurations). In properties->configuration specific, A,B,T are defined, in equations, dimensions are defined by A,B,T, in design table, $PRP@A, $PRP@B, $PRP@T are defined. configuration specific A,B,T change when change configurartion, but not change in equation. QI Macros is an add-in for Excel for use in Six Sigma. On two machines here, Solidworks stopped being able to create or open Excel driven design tables after it was installed. After removing the installation, everything worked fine. This for reference.

What are the steps on modifying an item (Hex Bolt forexample) from the Toolbox? I thought that I would be able to modify it just by selecting theitem but I guess I'm wrong. SolidworksConfigurations design Tables

So I am missing my tool box but when I go to Add-in and tryto add the toolbox I get the following message... ".toolboxswtool.dll cannot be loaded. Either Add-in or one ofits components is missing". Does anybody have this file or know how to fix it?

I am trying to make a design table and I want to add somecolumns for equation purposes. When I do that I get an error about"Column heading "No. of Full Louvers" contains an invalid featurename "No. of Full Louvers". Exiting design table without completing model update. No. of Full Louvers is in my equations, but when I make the DT itdoesn't get there.

Alright I need some help on this one. Is there a way to write a Macro/Code to automatically import partsinto an assembly and have the part snap to a mate reference alreadyset up? In the Configuration Manager, SW seems to always list theconfiguration names alphabetically, regardless of how the cells areformatted in the Design Table. This causes a problem in a part thatI'm working on where the configuration names are numerical. Forexample, 18 comes before 3 when listed alphabetically. How can Icorrect this?

anybody had this message and found a solution? "unable to open the design table using excel 2003" The only thing working seems to be to completely restore a backup. very frustrating, when this happens i lose all progress from thelast "pack and go" backup. SolidworksConfigurations design Tables
