I tried posting this questing in a little different manner earlier and got one suggestion. I since spent a lot of time reviewing YouTube tutorials so I have a better understanding of the tangent mate for spheres but I am not able to get it to work with my parts/assembly? Does it matter how the parts are draw, meaning a revolve cut or profile rotated about an axis? Thanks Jgaertner SolidworksModeling And Assemblies

Hello, I am fairly new to Solidworks but have been 3d modeling for the last 25 years. I am trying to model a top-down assembly driven by a master sketch. I've created 4 different parts and the assembly using configurations. I can get everything to update correctly sometimes but it is not consistent.
