Hi, I've seen this picture below and it got me thinking... are volumetric textures a thing in the future, especially something like wood textures. So basically the texture would show appearance the way body is shaped so different faces would match perfectly on the edges. SolidworksSolidworks Visualize

Solidworks 2020 SP4 Visualize Professional 2020 SP4 Randomly started getting this on a few of my projects. Saving the solidworks assembly no longer prompts a re-import in visualize, and there is no option to locate the original source file or re-import from visualize (like before). Was working fine the other day with this project. Any ideas or workarounds?

Hi, it would be nice if it was possible to re-import from another visualize file, instead of from the model. Assuming you import a model from visualize file you also import all appearances made from there so it would be nice to be able to re-import appearances from there. Or maybe make an option to re-import geometry and re-import appearances. SolidworksSolidworks Visualize

Lots of discussion about builds and GPUs lately. Figured I'd start a dedicated thread for folks to talk about and show what they're running Visualize on. SolidworksSolidworks Visualize

Now we are in Vis2020. Two full versions and 10 Service-Packs later and the queue is still not working correctly---Wow......! Now we can edit MDL Materials and have PBR-Material.That´s really good and an alternative to the antiquated material system. But how to change the mapping type of MDL?

If you render the Animation for the first time, everything is ok. But if you render it again, e.g. with higher resolution, the open.html and the js-Folder are missing. The images folder is written only. You have to restart Vis to set it back.

Hello, I am looking for some input on how to make an appearance for a layered material. The material that I am working with is called G-10. I'm just not exactly sure how to approach this problem as I've only done materials which have the same color throughout. Attached is a picture of the type of material that I am working with.

Hi Visualize community, Each year I create a Visualize desktop calendar image that can be downloaded and used on your own machines. This year's edition comes to us courtesy of customer AX Tech, created in Visualize by power-user Jacek Koczmierowski. Sized for 4K screens this year! Enjoy!
