I had a project due rather quickly. And needed to update a part in a product photo. Using Region Render I was able to just render out the part and location needed fast. Wanted to share in case anyone didn't know about this feature yet.

Logging into the forums while reading a discussion has changed (I believe). If you are reading a discussion, and not logged in, logging in causes you to head back to the forums home page. Previuosly, if you logged in while reading a discussion, it brought you back to the discussion. I normally don't log in unless I am going to add a reply, so this is cumbersome for me. I guess this is my most frequent gripe with SW 16. The files pull down recent files list, has moved so it is not at the bottom of the pull down menu anymore. You have to pop it out sideways. One extra move for me.

We all know that SOLIDWORKS can throw up some strange/ entertaining information at times! This is an interesting one with SOLIDWORKS 2019. Every now and then it tosses in some strange "Last time" open information The file certainly didn't take 15minutes and 52 seconds to open! I had one the other day which show it as 75minutes!

Sometime when i click the x to close the browser while in the forms a get a popup of a long winder with nothing in it and i have to hit [ESC] to close it and can't close the browser Has anyone else see this SolidworksGeneral

I am trying to get 23in long patch all-around long duct of the extended stack. if anyone knows through which process or tools we can make that patch then please share it to me. After inserting a weldment body into a part the sketch associated with that body doesn't stay with it as it is rotated and located differently on the sketch line. Does anyone else have this problem in 2009, because it didn't happen in 2008? Maybe there is an advantage but I don't see them as of now.SolidworksWeldments
