OK guys need some opinions here. I am building a new system.Should I go with a Xeon X5570 or a i7 965 EE processor. As far as Ican tell they are identical except the GHz. The i7 is a littlefaster.

SW2009 SP4.0 Seemed to delete the Vault Admin from mymachine. Whats the easiest way to reinstall it? I'm assuming fromthe CD, but do I need to de-select everything else that's alreadybeen installed?SolidworksAdministration

I have SW 2009 installed on a laptop and my toolbox and holewizard file locations are on a network drive. When I use my laptopat home disconnected from the network and try to use the holewizard I get an error message and cannot use the hole wizard ortoolbox. Trying to get the administrative image automatic deployment working on our domain and it will not connect to any of our computers. We have Windows server 2019, trying to deploy Solidworks 2020 SP1.0. The test run will not get past the the connection. Attached is a screenshot.

I usually go to the customer portal and the admin guides section to download the latest "What's New" pdf before installing. 2020 has been released for a little while now, but this is what you get in the customer portal right now. I'm assuming the full download has the finished version? This site needs an update. SolidworksAdministration

My computer crashed in the middle of upgrading to SP3.0. Ihad to re-install SW 2009 from the DVDs and then do the SP3.0upgrade. Now I don't have the SolidWorks menu. This is the "submenu" thatshows up in Windows Explorer when you right-click on a SW part.

Anybody out there had a chance to test drive either of these cards yet? I am really anxious to test the V5900. What is your experience, what cards can you compare them to? What system are you working on?

Hello all, I recently reformatted my hard drive. After installing a freshinstall of SolidWorks 2008, I get the error: 'Standalone LicenseFailure.' I have tried this license on other computers and it worksfine. Does anyone know of the reason behind this? BrendanSolidworksAdministration

Hello One of my students has a blank installation manager. I unblocked the html files under sldimlangenglishhtml but the installation manager stays blank. I checked all other exe's but they are all unblocked. Then I gave him a new copy of the installation files but the problem remains.
