Sometimes If I Import a huge IFC (eg. 32MB IFC 2x3) Solidworks need long time to link the part to an Assembly. If you wish to import it complete into an Assembly, Solidworks sometimes need more than 4h to complete. Sometimes it randomly crashes because of to less of RAM (he prompt me). The Problem is.

This is a trivial example, but hypothetically you can have one or several rigid bodies suspended/connected with linear springs (and dampers). I'm not interested (at this stage) in elastic deformations of the respective bodies, but I would like to calculate the eigenmodes and corresponding frequencies of the system of rigid bodies. Is this possible to do in Solidworks Motion Simulation? SolidworksMotion Studies
