I am struggling to reproduce / determine the Normal Stiffnessand Tangential Stiffness values for a flexible floor in a droptest. The 2007 Professional Training manual indicates values can bedetermined by analyzing a plate of like material under normal andshear loads. I have not been able to reproduce the values in thetutorial. Any pointers on how to reproduce the values?
Hey, I havwe been converting to step for me and myFiberglass/Design people to go back and forth, they are using pro eand catia...anyway I have neverhad a problem till today...... Sw will not save my model to step, I get error message"Inconsistent spline curve" which I have ruled as being part of themodel that I was sent this morning from my fiberglass people and Iopened from a step file then saved the necessary peices to mymachine model in sw parts.... Anyone know what I should do??

hello, i am having an issue loading a cable route that icreated in to pdmworks. i created a cable with a bend in it thatgets bent at assembly. in the same cable route, i created anotherroute using the same sketch profile except instead of a bend i madeit straight. that way the drawing will show it straight to get madeand put on the shelf. then the bent profile is on my assemblyshowing howto bend at assembly. so, my issue is that after creating the two routs in the same fileit will not load into
We have an issue here that I have not seen mentioned, and amposting to see if anyone else has had this problem, or knows of afix. We have to save our assemblies and parts as STEP files to send tovarious vendors. What is happening, is that when the assembly isopened, it has lost all association with the parts, and when youfind the part to reassociate it with the assembly, we get aninternal ID error message. What do we need to be doing differently so they will opencorrectly?
I am having problems with SW09 SP 2.1. After saving it should remove the gray background in the thumbnailpreview in explorer but this is not working. The first part Iconverted to SW09 cleared the gray background in the preview andnow it is not doing this on any other parts or assemblies. Hello, I am having trouble with SolidWorks finding the template filelocations in a computer lab that has been ghost imaged. I have the the ghost administrative master it is set up to (whatseem to be the new) default locations (C:\documents andsettings\all users\application data\solidworks\. . .). I'm wondering how many people actually use the fillet bead command and actually configure those features so that the "As Machined" and "As Welded" configurations relate to the real world. I find the fillet bead command extremely limited - it can only be applied to between two faces that are at right angles.
