Don't let that change slip by you! So you can now make your Skeleton Sketch Part an Envelope and set this setting...Now SW won't allow part to part relations that aren't to that SSP. I haven't played with this yet, but it could really help the SSP workflow. SolidworksAssemblies

Anyone else find the new toolbox listing of to be awful? Why change it from ascending physical size order, e.g. M5, M6, M8 to a confusing numerical order, e.g. M1.6, M10, M12, M16, M2, M20. Makes fastener lists look completely illogical. SolidworksAssemblies
When I use to insert a part into an assembly it wouldautomatically position it so that the origins were coincident. Nowit seems to position it at the center of mass. Is there an option to change it back to aligning the origins? SolidworksAssemblies

When replacing a component on an assembly sometimes we Drop additional component/s from the library and it will be useful it the components that are replacing existing components could be selected on the feature manager window as well. SolidworksAssemblies
I find that if you reload sub-assmbly from the vault if there is a newer version of the sub-assembly in the vault with new parts in it, you don't get the new parts and so they show up as suppressed and your sub-assembly is screwed up.SolidworksAssemblies

Working with SW 2007, I have a subassembly which has theright color for the two components. once I switch back to topassembly, cannot carry the same part color over. Welcome to the forum. If you mean you have the doors for the left side, and need some for the right side, use the "Mirror Components" function in the Assembly. After choosing the plane and components to mirror, click on the small blue arrow at the top of the PropertyManager, then select the "Create opposite hand version" icon near the bottom. Can someone help me. This just starting happing to me within the past 2 days. Whenever I create a mate in an assembly, the mate menu opens up, I create my mate and then the menu closes. I have to reopen the mate command every time I want to continue mating.
