SW2015 premium. Even went to check the instal and its there, listed and marked... So is lots of other stuff but they arent showing up eighter in the add-ins list. Should it be "under" the toolbox?
There will be a Webinar on July 16th at 1pm PST demostrating our new Add-in, Pathfinder3D. Pathfinder automatically exports layered DXF files for use in CAM systems. It also creates a cutlist, and handles face up/face down and grain direction.Check out the link below. http://www.pathfinder3d.com/webinar.html Thanks, Chris SolidworksImport export
When SolidWorks exports to PDF and converts your "Shaded with Edges" views to simply "Shaded," (SW2010 SP4), the solution is to hide the views and then unhide them. After that, saving shows the views correctly. SolidworksImport export
Hey all, just wanted to point you in the direction of an add-in now available to directly upload files from SolidWorks to Shapeways for 3D printing in a fairly wide range of materials form polymers, stainless steel to glass. more info here http://www.shapeways.com/blog/archives/484-SolidWorks-Add-in-to-Upload-Directly-to-Shapeways.html Cheers Duann SolidworksImport export
Hoping someone can help me. I'd like to be able to exportmass properties on a part in a text file. Does anyone know ifSolidworks 2009 is capable of doing this? Thanks, JonSolidworksImport export
If I manually do a feature/import data set to iges andbringup options page then uncheck" Perform full entity check and repair errors" the iges translates and i get the results I want Now if I program the translation using Set model = swApp.LoadFile4(fileName, "i", importData, Err) the translation happens with the entity check on where do i set the option for this SolidworksImport export
When using the Collada export plugin (from SolidWorks Labs)to export a CubeSat assembly (cubesatkit.com), all rigid bodies arebeing assigned an inertia value of 0.01, 0.01, 0.01. The mass andmass frames look okay. There are no mass properties manuallyassigned (although would that make a difference?). Anyone have any idea why that might be?
Does anyone use Inventor and import assemblies fromsolidworks? I normally would save a solidworks assembly file as a step filebecause it should be the most application friendly translation. I don'thave inventor and would appreciate any verification on what it canimport while still maintaining the ability to be manipulated into positionor measured. Thanks in advance SolidworksImport export
Have searched everywhere, all I found were jpegs w/o enoughfine detail to convert, can't use those. Any ideas? Websites forfreebies? Am I the first person in need of an agency logo on their drawing?
I am experimenting with the GibbsCam Add-In. I have anassembly file with some sub-assemblies. I select "GibbsCam TransferAdd-In" and it starts doing its thing. Everything transfers to GibbsCam fine, but when I go back to my SWfile, it has desolved my sub assemblies and given me errors on mymates.
Hello, We were told that our parts and assemblies originating in Inventor8 could be converted to Solidworks 2009 without an issue. I have a user thathas been trying to do this, but the parts are coming over as dumbsolids. Is there anything we can do to get the part constraints tofollow into Solidworks?
