Makers of all ages attended the Nantes Maker Campus event in Nantes, France. With an inspiring setting, SOLIDWORKS was there to support our youngest makers, students, start-ups, and the maker community. With free SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids, children age 4-14 got to test out their skills designing and 3DPrinting creations in front of very proud parents. Amy Hamilton, the 2021 3DEXPERIENCE World model mania winner (using xDesign), is a Technology Education/Engineering teacher at Sleepy Hill Middle School in Lakeland, Florida. She is one of the few teachers worldwide teaching SOLIDWORKS to middle schoolers. In her third year of teaching SolidWorks (2014), 29 of her students passed the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam. In 2018, 35 of her eighth graders passed it.

We are proud to announce the winners of the first SOLIDWORKS xDesign Challenge for India! 1600+ students and 249 teams had 41 days to work on their Futuristic Public Transport designs. The submissions we received were amazing!
