Every year in the weeks leading up to SolidWorks World, we give attendees a chance to learn about some of our Solution Partners attending the event and setting up booths in the Partner Pavilion. Our partners play a big role in making the event great every year, and they always come with some of the newest technology and tools that help make SolidWorks users more productive. Now through January 26, we’re giving some of these partners a chance to let attendees know what they can expect–in their own words. In our final installment, we hear from Smooth Logics.

Our goal at Smooth Logics is to offer software solutions to make our customers’ lives easier. Smooth Logics was established by an engineer-to-order manufacturer that was looking for a software solution that really fit their business model and would leverage SolidWorks. Knowing what was available on the market, we set out to fill in the gaps we saw in other packages to offer a full business operation solution specifically designed with custom and engineer-to-order manufacturers in mind. What we came up with is more than just ERP, it’s a revolution in business management software that fully integrates with SolidWorks.

To put it simply, we sell software that helps companies run more efficiently.  We help our customers track and manage projects from project kick-off through shipping. Offered as a business solution, our software is flexible enough to adapt to your business model and helps to bring information from a variety of sources into one place, giving your employees the tools and information they need at their fingertips.

Our software was designed from an engineering perspective. We offer patent-pending bi-directional SolidWorks integration through an add-in that lives in the SolidWorks Task Pane.  What does that mean for you?  It means that an engineer can design in SolidWorks and simultaneously save property information to SolidWorks and our software database.  When their design is complete, an order request to purchasing can be placed through our Add-In.  There’s no need to leave SolidWorks or maintain spreadsheets to track what you ordered an when.  We do the tracking for you.
